国语:Umur Zainal adalah empat kali ganda Umur anak lelakinya.Selepas 6 tahun,hasil tambah Umur mereka ialah 52tahun.Cari Umur kini anak lelaki Zainal.

英语:(建议写英语的因为我是学英语的版本谢谢)Zainal age is four times the age of his son.After 6years the sum of their age is 52.Find the present age of his son.

我的问题是找不到整数，算到的都是有余数的。

请你们帮助我下(最好可以解释谢谢)

Let Zainal's age be x; Son's be y.

(This year)

Zainal's age: x = 4y

(Six years later)

Zainal's age: 4y + 6

Son's age: y + 6

The sum of their age: 52

Hence (4y + 6) + (y + 6) = 52

5y + 12 = 52

5y = 40

y = 8.

In conclusion, the present age of his son is 8 years old.

我有一个问题想问一问你:为什么算了six years later的可以得到present age?是因为5y=52-12的时候减去了吗?

对，因为两者得岁数都是加了6年，因此减出12年就可以找出答案了。
你放x的话最终会变成x + y = 40。你现在要找的是y，而且已经有x的数目了，不如把x放进去，知道y得数目？
