题目：
The diagram shows a garden in the shape of a rectangle ABCD. Two areas in the shape of quadrants, APQ and DQR, each oof radius 7m and an area in the shape of a right-angled triangle PBC are planted with grass.

Calculate

(i) the perimeter, in m, of the region plannted with grass

perimeter=周长

(ii) the area, in m2, of the region planted with grass

area=面积

(i)

Circumference of quadrants APQ/DQR

=(90°/360°) x 2 x (22/7) x 7m

=11m

为什么要90°，如果是2πr / πd 代表整个圆圈。

c = √(a² + b²)

c = √(48² + 14²)

c = √2500

c = 50m

Perimeter 

=RQ + QP + PC +CR 

=11m + 11m + 50m + 48m

=120m

=(90/360) x (22/7) x 7m²

= 38.5m²

area of APRD 

= 14m x 7m 

= 98m²

area of PQR 

= APRD - APQ - DQR

= 98m² - 38.5m² - 38.5m²

=21m²

area of PCR 

= (1/2) x 48m x 14m 

= 336m² 

---

area of region planted of grass 

= 336m² +21m² 

=357m²
