Maths Problems Confusing

Question

The question asks, Mr Richard bought a piece of rectangular land at the price of RM(336x²+420x).If the price of the land is RM(6x) per square meters,calculate

(i) the area of the land bought by Mr.Richard

(ii)The perimeter in m of the land

The first i question i calculated correctly, the answer is (56x+70)m² but the second one i dont reallly understand and confused. If i dont have height of the length of the rectangle, how can i find its perimeter?

第二题的答案确实是 8x+38 但是是如何算出来的？

这题除非有其他的条件不然是无解的，因为在同样的area下，perimeter会随着不同长度的边的差距产生变化。差距越小，perimeter越小，差距越大，perimeter越大，所以只有area一个条件是找不到答案的。

b) formula of perimeter: 2(height)+2(length)
As the answer of a) is (56x+70)m^2, so
56x+70=14(4x+5)
assume 14 is height and (4x+5) is the length of the land,
perimeter of the land
=2(14)+2(4x+5)
=28+8x+10
=(8x+38)m

可以试下factorize它。
U can try to factorize it.
56x + 70 = (28x + 35)(2)
so the perimeter may be:

2(28x+35) + 2(2) = 56x + 70 + 4

                             = 56x + 74
