Hey guys. In Form 1 Chap. 8, I have learned about refraction of light. I have got a question to ask, if a person would like to spear a fish in a river, but due to the refraction of light, the fish will not at the same place as we saw them at the surface of the water. How can we help the person to catch the fish effectively?

At first, my opinion is to estimate the location of the fish in the river, but it is nearly impossible to do it. So guys do you have any solution to overcome this problem?

Thank you.

always aim slightly below the visible fish
Don' t aim directly at the fish you see but aim a little lower, because the fish is actually deeper than it looks.
